Advisory work is usually structured as either a defined engagement around a specific question or decision, or as ongoing support over a period of time. The structure is shaped by the situation rather than a fixed package.
Both approaches are used. Some engagements are short-term and focused, while others take the form of a monthly retainer to provide ongoing perspective as situations evolve.
In some cases, advisory work naturally leads to deeper collaboration or ongoing involvement. When that happens, it’s discussed openly and without expectation at the outset.
Yes. We intentionally keep advisory relationships limited to ensure the work remains thoughtful, engaged, and responsive.
